Marijana Ababovic, Microenterprise Specialist

Ms. Ababovic has a wealth of experience in the Microenterprise and Individual Development Account (IDA) fields where she has worked as a trainer and business advisor for the past ten years. At ISED, she provides microenterprise technical assistance to our ORR funded microenterprise grantees. She also assists with data collection and the revision of ISED's self-assessment tool. Previously, Ms. Ababovic has served as the Director of the Women's Opportunities Resource Center (WORC) microenterprise development program in Rochester and Utica, NY. At WORC she developed multilingual business curricula, worked on ORR funded IDA projects, developed additional local match for IDAs, and presented at numerous national and international conferences. She has also worked with an Urban Garden program providing training to youth to bring their garden products to the local market. Ms. Ababovic is currently finishing her MBA at the Simon School in Rochester, NY, concentrating in Strategy, Market Research, and Finance.
